Ben Tennyson or Benjamin Kirby Tennyson as his full name is a premature teen who wields the Omnitrix. He is a Human from the planet Earth.
Discovering The Omnitrix:
Ben Tennyson was an ordinary 10 year old boy who was immature, cocky and day dreams about him being a superhero. When it was summer vacation he was going to have a road trip with his grandfather Max Tennyson although was disappointed when he found out that his cousin Gwen Tennyson was tagging along. The reason that Gwen told was that someone has convinced her mother to ask her to join. When they arrived at a forest Ben and Gwen had a little fight so Ben went walking into the forest. But that all changed when Ben discovered the Omnitrix, a powerful device that allows Ben to transform into different aliens. Ben tried to take it off but was in vain. He then accidentally transformed into Heatblast and started to set the forest on fire. Later Max and Gwen found out and Ben was able to take down the fire, although it burnt down half of the forest. Later Ben still as Heatblast was talking to Gwen and Max about the Omnitrix, and timed out. Happy that he is back to normal, Max went out to the forest. Later Ben was figuring out how to use the Omnitrix at the Rustbcket but Gwen caught him. Ben went Wildmutt and jump away. Vilgax drones attack
Ben and Gwen defeated it by using a stick. Later a giant drone came and attack the campsite, Ben went Diamondhead and defeated it by reflecting its lasers back at it. In the end of the episode, Ben was missing, but came back as XLR8, he said he had some business to take care off which is giving Cash and JT a wedgie on a tree. They are wondering what is happening.
Appearances
Ben's appearances has changed throughout the series each with new characteristics. But they still maintain Ben's main features such as brown hair, green eyes, light pink/peach skin and quite skinny. In the original series, Ben wears a white, short sleeve shirt with a black stripe. He wears long, dark green jeans with black and white shoes. In Alien Force, he is now 15, he is taller, his face is a bit different shape, he wears a black shirt and a green jacket with a number "10" on it. He wears blue jeans with the same shoes from the original series. He wears the prototype Omnitrix on his left wrist. In Ultimate Alien, he is now 16, the only difference here is he is taller and wears the Ultimatrix on his left wrist. In Omniverse, Ben has the Omniverse art style and almost 17. He has messy hair, no pupils, a black shirt with a green stripe and a white "10" on it (because it is mixed with OS and UAF). He wears brown jeans and wears green and white shoes. He wears the new Omnitrix on his left wrist as usual. He also sometimes wears a white hoodie with green and a green "10" on the right side (Ben's left). It also has some green stripes. It is shown in Special Delivery that when Ben was five years old, he wore green overalls with a white shirt underneath it. He wears black and white shoes. The overalls has the number "5 1/2" on it. He had buck teeth and puffy hair.
Powers and Abilities:
Ben wields the prototype Omnitrix (later the Ultimatrix and then the Omnitrix) with this device he can transform into 10 different aliens. When Ben change into an alien Ben gets the powers, weakness, appearance and voice of the alien. Ben first had only 10 aliens but in the end of the original series, Ben unlocks about 20 aliens in total. Ben also shows good hand to hand combat as shown in "Double Or Nothing" Ben was able to fight Albedo without using the Ultimatrix. He also has good memory skills as shown in "The Enemy Of My Frenemie" he remembered the magic code.
Weaknesses:
Ben having the Omnitrix is also a weakness as sometimes does not work properly and Ben gets the wrong alien. Also, Ben is weak while in human state so he has to be careful while fighting stronger enemies.
