Sandbox, Snakepit and Shellhead Designs and Powers Revealed

Sandbox, Snakepit, Shellhead, Toepick and Atomix were aliens that were mentioned in the original series episode Ken 10. Out of these five, Toepick and Atomix would appear in Ben 10: Omniverse. However, Sandbox, Snakepit and Shellhead would only remain as mentioned aliens that are in Ken Tennyson's Omnitrix. Tom Perkins, one of the designers from the original series, went on Twitter and showed off his illustrations of how he would had designed Sandbox, Snakepit and Shellhead if they had appeared in the original Ben 10, along with their powers. Snakepit

The first future Ben 10 alien that Thomas Perkins posted was Snakepit. A lot of fans speculated that he could be a member of Ssserpent's species, but it isn't so. Snakepit has three snake heads coming out of a broken egg-like torso with three-fingered arms and two-toed legs. Snakepit is able to shoot lightning-like yellow lasers from his eyes that will temporarily petrify opponents, similar to Medusa turning people to stone. He wore the Omnitrix on his chest. 

 

Sandbox

Sandbox is a blobby wet-sand looking alien that emerges from a black box with green circuitry where the Omnitrix resides. He has dust clouds surrounding his head and arms as well as two green amoeba-like eyes with a black outline. Sandbox would be able to contain himself entirely in his box and take on different shapes using his body. He'd also have a power similar to sandstorms. It is likely that he'd be able to regenerate.  

Shellhead

And finally we have Shellhead. In the original series, Ken described Shellhead as a giant turtle whose only power was to hide in his shell. Tom Perkin's depiction of the alien is much different, due to him thinking its redundant to have another turtle alien when Terraspin exists. This version of Shellhead is a large pill-bug-like alien with four legs and two arms. He has two yellow eyes and a large mouth with no visible tongue. He wears the Omnitrix on his chest. According to Tom Perkins, Shellhead would be able to burrow through the ground at great speeds and his exoskeleton would be invulnerable. Shellhead would be able to curl his body together similar to a pill-bug.

These alien designs came out of nowhere, but is very much appreciated. These aliens have been a mystery for over a decade, and it's nice to finally have a visual of what could had been. What do you think of Sandbox, Snakepit and Shellhead?
