In the season one finale Omni-Tricked: Part 4; Ben used Upgrade to upgrade the Omnitrix and accidentally locked him out of the transformation in the process. He continued to appear in the season 2 opening until Half-Sies, where he is replaced with Shock Rock. He is sometimes mentioned in season 2 by Ben.
Appearance
Upgrade is a tall, black humanoid with a purple torso and purple stripes all over his body, resembling circuitry. He has purple circles on his knees, shoulders, the back of his palms and his face, which is also his eye. His body is also shiny. The Omnitrix symbol is located on Upgrade’s chest.Toddler Upgrade is a small, short humanoid with a large round head. He still has all of normal Upgrade’s circuitry lines. His voice is higher pitched as well.
Powers and Abilities
Upgrade’s body might seem solid like metal, but he can change it into a more liquid-like state, allowing him to bend and stretch as well as move around quickly. He can also reshape his body to have holes or make himself as flat as paper. He can also climb over anything metal while in his liquid state. Upgrade can possess any piece of technology by molding himself over it, upgrading it in the process. When he upgrades a piece of machinery, it becomes more futuristic and gains new features, he can also move it around freely as if it was his own body. Upgrade can also make his head appear anywhere on the machine. As shown in Freaky Gwen Ben, Upgrade can also overload machines to make them explode.
Weaknesses
Since his body is surrounding whatever technology he is merged with, he can feel pain if anything hits the machine. Toddler Upgrade can't Upgrade devices that are too large for him, and need assistance to stretch all over the device.
