Bens from every Ben 10 series returns in Alien X-tinction

A new trailer advertising the upcoming Ben 10 specials has showed new footage from Ben Gen 10 and Alien X-tinction. You can watch my breakdown of the trailer here.

We got our first animated look at Agent Six in the reboot, Rex rushing through the sky with his B.F.S. and Rex building the Smack Hands with Bobo. 

A comparison between Hex and Vilgax's alien armies

 We also see a scene where Rex, Humungousaur, Agent Six and Bobo are facing against Hex and his army of humans who he had turned into Ben's aliens, but with red eyes and no Omnitrix symbol. Hex's army of aliens is similar to Vilgax's plan in the reboot episode Super Villain Team Up.

The commercial also states that Ben 10,000 in the reboot is just an alternate future, not Ben's definitive future.

Alternate Max in Alien X-tinction

 As for Alien X-tinction, we get to see Alien X coming to reboot Ben's dimension via a pink portal and reboot Rath fighting him. It should be noted that during this scene, Alien X has 10 Omnitrix symbols instead of nine. 

In one scene, we can see that Gwen is tied up near a landslide, with Ben transforming using his newly upgraded Omnitrix. We then see the alternate Max that has been mentioned in the synopsis, he looks similar to reboot Max, except his jeans are tucked into his boots, he wears a brown sash instead of a jacket and he has a robotic arm that is seen as a blaster. His robotic arm is a reference to future Max in the original series.

The trailer also shows that every iteration of Ben Prime will be appearing in Alien X-Tinction, as well as Gwen 10 from the episode of the same name, not the Omniverse version, as evident from her Omnitrix design and skin color. They are all drawn to fit the reboot's art style. 

 

Other interesting details about this frame is that UAF Ben's jacket has stripes on both sides, similar to the reboot's version of Ben 10,000 in the end of his special. Unlike AF Ben, UA Ben's jeans are green instead of blue, similar to his original series counterpart. It should also be noted that his Ultimatrix is pointing the wrong way. 

Other tidbits I'd like to mention is that UAF Ben's poses are copypasted, and that all the teen Bens has the same faces. OV Ben is seen wearing his white jacket instead of his black shirt, and his white jacket has white cuffs instead of green. Gwen's Omnitrix looks less detailed than OS Ben's, and OS Ben's Omnitrix has two buttons on each side instead of just one, making it look identical to the Omnitrix seen in OV flashbacks.

Big Chill hologram

 Big Chill can be seen as a hologram on Alien Force Ben's Omnitrix, it is unknown if he transforms into him.

Bloxx, AmpFibian and Ripjaws in the reboot

Finally, we see Ben and his family preparing for battle. OV, UA and OS Ben has transformed into Bloxx, AmpFibian and Ripjaws, respectively. Bloxx and AmpFibian looks the same as they did in their series, while Ripjaws' design is very similar to the Piscciss Volann Prisoner seen in Versus the Universe, except without the respirator and an Omnitrix symbol added to his left chest. 

Max can be seen with two high tech blasters while Gwen is armed with a green energy shield. It should be noted that reboot Ben's left arm doesn't have the Omnitrix, which may indicate that Alien X has taken it. To the left we can see a blaster, presumably belonging to Alternate Max. Gwen 10 and AF Ben can't be seen in this shot. 

All three season 5 specials will premiere as a three day event in the US beginning on April 9 at 10 AM.
