Brainstorm in Ben 10: Omniverse

Brainstorm is a Cerebrocrustacean from the planet Encephalonus IV. Ben first transformed into him by accident due to a signal interference in Pier Pressure where he fought and defeated Ship. Brainstorm is notable for being the only alien Ben named on screen, instead of instantly knowing the name of the form. 

Brainstorm made a brief cameo in Ben 10: Ultimate Alien in the first episode Fame on TV. Brainstorm properly returned in the episode Escape from Aggregor where he used Animo's yeti to attack his master before freeing it after. He was used by Albedo briefly in Night of the Living Nightmare where he was intimidated by Ben. 

Brainstorm re-appeared in the Ben 10: Omniverse episode Malefactor by the request of a kid who wanted to dunk him in water, but missed. Albedo as Omniverse Brainstorm was used in A Fistful of Brains where he fought Astrodactyl.

Brainstorm was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker in Alien Force and Ultimate Alien. He was voiced by Corey Burton in Omniverse.

Appearance

Brainstorm's Appearance in Ben 10: Alien Force and Ultimate Alien

Brainstorm in Ben 10: Alien Force and Ultimate Alien is an orange crab-like alien with long skinny arms with pincers.connected to the sides of his large oval head. Brainstorm has two large panels on top of his head which he can open to reveal a large pink brain. He has two green eyes, spikes on his cheeks and plates as well as six crustacean-like legs with two joints each. He wears a grey neck brace with a black stripe to support his head. The Omnitrix and Ultimatrix resides here. He spoke with a British accent and a large vocabulary.

In Ben 10: Omniverse Brainstorm is now more angular and only has four legs with a single joint. His spikes are longer and now has two more under his mouth. He has a green and black stripe running through the middle of his head plates and bottom, similar to a loin cloth. He has a spike on each elbow and wears a green belt with two white stripes. The Omnitrix is located on his belt. He speaks with a different accent than previously.

Albedo as Brainstorm in Ben 10: Ultimate Alien looks the same as Ben's minus the Ultimatrix symbol and has red eyes. In Omniverse, his shell is now pink and he has yellow teeth. His green stripes, eyes and Ultimatrix is also red.

Powers and Abilities

Brainstorm is Ben's second smartest alien. With his large brain, he is able to strategize, analyze and solve problems very quickly with ease. He is able to able to understand his enemies' movements and personalities as well as surrounding objects and use it to his advantage.

By opening the shells covering his brain, he is able to generate a large amount of electricity which he can fire to shock people, or use it to make things levitate, including himself. He is also able to create force fields and control certain technology with it. He can also generate electricity with his pincers, and use his pincers to cut and crush things such as a fridge. Brainstorm is also able to scale walls.

Brainstorm mainly communicates by projecting his thoughts as sound waves, which means his mouth doesn't open when he speaks. However it can move up or down depending on his emotion and open when he needs to vomit, revealing a brain-like tongue inside.

In Alien Force and Ultimate Alien Brainstorm's electricity was yellow, though in some episodes it was blue. In Omniverse his electricity is now green.

Weaknesses

Brainstorm will injure himself if he uses his electricity with his shell closed, as it will hit his brain. He is also weak to sonic screams as he needs to focus while using his powers. Brainstorm, like any Cerebrocrustacean, is weak to its predator, the Vicetopus.
