Today on the Omnicoid Void I'll be reviewing the 4 inch figure of the first thinker Galvan himself, Azmuth! This version of the figure is from the Destroy All Aliens line of toys.
During the premiere of Ben 10: Destroy All Aliens, Bandai created a wave of figures from the movie, all of which are just re-releases of older toys with new packaging and a lack of accessories.
This Azmuth is based of his Ultimate Alien and Alien Force counterpart. This figure has a large glaring flaw being the miscolored clothing, which isn't supposed to have purple and is detailed wrongly. Bandai would later release the figure with accurate colors in a Haywire set, which featured pre-existing aliens with another aliens' color scheme. A little ironic if you think about it.
Azmuth is able to stand well by himself despite the size of his head. As for articulation, he is able to rotate his head clockwise.
He is able to move his arm around his shoulder, though it can be hindered by his head. He can also rotate on his wrists, so you can make him look like he's lecturing Ben.
My favorite part about the figure is the fact that it's 4 inches, so he's pretty much accurate to Azmuth's actual size. You could pretend he's a real Galvan.
A thing that I dislike about the figure, besides the colors, is how thick his tendrils are. It looks like putty that summon slapped on. It could had been a bit thinner, but I suppose that would be more prone to breaking.
Azmuth is also able to move his feet forward, but not much backwards. He doesn't have any knee movements and he can't sit by himself without support from his arms, which results in that goofy pose.
Overall, this figure is a bad representation of Azmuth and is not worth it. With no accessories and miscolored suit the only thing accurate about it is the size. You're better off buying the two pack with him and Galactic Enforcer Ben as well as a DVD if you desperately want this inaccurate figure.
I hope you enjoyed my first ever toy review on this blog, let me know of your thoughts in the comment below.
