Ben 10 Reboot Alien of the Week: Diamondhead/Petrosapien

Last week we Cartoon Network showed off an Alien Worlds short featuring Four Arms' species, Tetramand. This week they showed off another one of Ben's alien species and planet, in this case it's Diamondhead's species, Petrosapien, from the planet Petropia.

Petropia is the home planet of the Petrosapiens, diamond based humanoid aliens that are able to reshape their body into different shapes. Fans of the earlier Ben 10 series would know Petropia as a diamond shard-shaped planet that was destroyed by Vilgax. But in the Ben 10 reboot, Petropia is now round like a traditional planet and has an asteroid belt surrounding it, making it resemble Saturn. The planet is made entirely out of diamonds and minerals, the surface is filled with technology devloped by Petrosapiens, such as flying ships and tanks. The tank resembles the Diamondhead tank that was showcased at the Playmates toy fair.

Below the surface, there is a Petrosapien subspecies that resembles the Diamondhead we all know and remember. They are patrol scouts that train for war and use weapons such as laser cannons to help them in battle. It should be noted that their outfits resemble that of Tetrax from the original series, which explains how he is so good at combat. It is shown that Petrosapiens can have different "hair styles", such as pompadours.

 And deep below the planet are what appears to be diamond based predators, they seem very primitive and have yellow eyes. The credits to the video also confirms that Azmuth is suppose to be narrating.
