Japanese Ben 10 Toy Review

Pretty random but a popular Japanese toy review channel called Leon Channel, who usually reviews toys related to Kamen Rider and Yo-kai Watch, has posted a review about Playmates' two Omnitrix toys. He compares the toy to a Yo-kai Watch and says "Henshin!" before transforming similar to a Kamen Rider. Check it out!

I suppose Ben 10 is an anime now, huh? Just kidding!

He was first properly used in Breakpoint where Ben finds out about his mustache shape-shifting powers and successfully beat Fistrick. He was voiced by Yuri Lowenthal in Outbreak, before being replaced by David Kaye for the rest of the series. Mole-Stache was originally intended to appear in No Honor Among Bros, with his lines even being recorded, but was cut for time. He speaks like a stereotypical gentleman with an English accent.

Ben 10 Reboot Season 3 Speculation

We're not far into Season 2 of the Ben 10 reboot yet, but I think it would be fun to analyze some sketches done by Kaitrin Snodgrass. Keep in mind, these are just sketches and probably don't mean anything, I'm just overthinking things.

This picture shows Ben and Gwen preparing to fight. Gwen is shown being able to fire some sort of roundish plate. This might mean she will learn how to use magic later on in the series, much like in the original Ben 10/

Ben 10 Season 2: Upgrade is Dead, Episode Scenes and Omni-Enhanced XLR8!

Cartoon Network Africa has released a new Meet the Aliens video featuring the Omni-Enhanced aliens and Shock Rock.

A lot of fans wonder why hasn't Ben transform into Upgrade yet, even I questioned why he didn't appear during Animo's mutation in Animorphosis. The video confirms that Upgrade is completely gone from the Omnitrix, sacrificing himself in order to upgrade it and add Omni-Enhancements. So I guess Upgrade died!

The video also contains scenes from upcoming episodes, including:
  • Omni-Enhanced Stinkfly fighting Zombozo in the Rustbucket
  • Omni-Enhanced Heatblast fighting Vilgax's drones
  • Transformations for Omni-Enhanced Four Arms and Omni-Enhanced Overflow, both of which are from The 11th Alien two parter.

Interview with Kuro the Artist, Creator of Ben 10 and Danny Phantom Crossover Comic

Today I bring you an interview with Rob Orpilla, commonly known as Kuro the Artist, a popular member of the Ben 10 fandom known for creating the Ben 10 and Danny Phantom crossover comic, 5 Years Later. He also makes coloring pages, as well as merchandise with his designs on it such as t-shirts, stickers, cups and hoodies.

How did you get into Ben 10? Subsequently, how did you get into Danny Phantom?

I don't remember the first time I got into Danny Phantom, as it came out a little earlier than Ben 10 and I was relatively young. It was sometime during the first season as I remember a ton of the old commercials promoting the episodes. For Ben 10, the first episode I ever saw was A Small Problem, where Ben gets stuck in his Grey Matter transformation the entire episode.

Looking back, that was one of the weaker episodes, but even that was enough to get me hooked. To help promote the season 2 finale Back with A Vengeance, Cartoon Network aired a marathon of all the episodes that aired so far, so that is how I caught up. I saw every new episode when it aired since.

What gave you the idea of starting 5 Years Later?

Long story short, I wanted to produce a comic that had a more efficient method of editing and illustration that my previous work, and after drawing Danny and Ben for so long, I realized how much more there were to the characters than their networks have allowed them to grow, so I took it upon myself to give them justice. You can check out the full story on my YouTube video, 39 Facts About The Danny Phantom/10 Crossover.
