On ask.fm, Derrick J. Wyatt has shown his current sketch of his Fasttrack Omniverse redesign. Fasttrack is the current canon alien to not have an Omniverse version yet, and fans has been waiting for a long time for Derrick to draw him, which lead to a GoFundMe that raised $5000 to get Derrick to draw his least favorite alien.
Fasttrack in Omniverse sketch |
The sketch so far features a slender Fasttrack wearing clothes. His lightning bolt on his chest is much more pronounced and his face is much more angular. He has pupils and an arrow on his forehead. He wears fingerless gloves and shoes, which exposes his toes. It appears that the Omnitrix is intended to go on his chest.
Keep in mind that this is just a sketch, so his design may change a little in the final product.
A new image for Ben 10,010 that showcases future Gwen and the alien invaders has been revealed. The image shows that the alien invaders are purple. bulky humanoid aliens with pink X's on their face. These aliens are presumably able to shapeshift judging by the first teaser.

Future Gwen is also seen in a robot suit, which she presumably uses for battle. The use of the armor indicates that she does not have any magic powers like in the original series.

Clockwork and Ben 10,000 on the Cartoon Network mural |
Previously, Ben 10,000 and Clockwork has been seen on a mural in Cartoon Network studios, who at the time were assumed to not appear in the reboot and were just drawn for fun. Ben 10,010 is confirmed to air in European countries on February 27, 2021.
A Spanish website that shows information about Spanish dubs had give the names for upcoming season 5 episodes of the Ben 10 reboot. The article states that each special is 45 minutes long, which coincides with Duncan Rouleau's statement on season 5 consisting of "movie events", similar to Ben 10 Versus the Universe.
The season 5 episode title revealed are:
Judging by the titles of these movie events, it's pretty clear that Alien X and Ben 10,000 are going to appear in season 4 of the reboot. Gen 10 seems a little more vague, but it may be referring to Generator Rex and a possible crossover between that and the reboot. Perhaps Rex Salazar is an Omnitrix wielder in the reboot, or he has ten different machines he can build.
A forest background that will appear in Alien X-tinction |
In addition, Becky Lau, who worked on the Ben 10 reboot as a background designer, has released background art for Alien X Tinction Act 1.

Like an armadillo or a pill-bug, Cannonbolt is able to curl himself into a ball, keeping his arms, legs and face inside and only revealing his yellow plate armor on his back outside. In this form he is able to quickly roll and bounce around, slamming into his enemies as his main form of offense.
One might wonder how does Cannonbolt know where he's going and not accidentally bump into his allies while in ball form.
Well Duncan Rouleau, who is part of Man of Action, the creators of the original Ben 10 series and currently working on the reboot, answered this question.
Apparently, Cannonbolt has short hairs on his body similar to humans. These hairs are similar to a cat's whiskers and can sense motion and shifts in the air. While not confirmed, it's possible that these hairs are located on Cannonbolt's black lining around his armor, as these lines are exposed outside while he is in ball form. Cannonbolt also has enhanced hearing. With these two senses together, Cannonbolt has something similar to echolation that gives him eyeless vision, allowing Cannonbolt to "see" around him while rolling around in ball form.
Today is the 15th anniversary since the premiere of the first Ben 10 episode And Then There Were 10. It doesn't seem like Cartoon Network has anything in store for the occasion, but as a fandom we should do our best to celebrate Ben 10's big day! Happy Anniversary!

He wears a black jumpsuit with a white udnerbelly. He has two gills near his stomach and wears the Omnitrix on his stomach. Tom Perkins has designed another new alien. This time it's Hippopotamass, or as he spelt it, Hippopotomass. This is one of the many joke aliens Matt Wayne came up with during Ben 10: Omniverse's run.
Hippopotamass |
Hippopotamass is a blue hippo-like alien that is able to change density of himself or objects near him using yellow energy that he projects from his arms. He has three eyes, with one of them on his forehead, which glows yellow when he uses his powers. He wears the Omnitrix on his neckbrace.

Hippopotomass isn't the first joke alien that was given a design by Tom Perkins. The character designer previously designed Bungee Gum, who you can view here.
Tom Perkins just keeps on giving. This time he shows off designs for Braindrain and Bungee Sponge. Bungee Sponge is one of the many joke aliens Matt Wayne came up with during Ben 10: Omniverse, while Braindrain is an Ormerowon, a zombie species that's been mentioned in the original series. Check them out below.
Braindrain |
Braindrain is zombie alien from the planet Anur Ormerow in the Anur System. His species was mentioned in Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix at the end of the movie. Braindrain is only accessible to Ben 10,000 and he is able to drain the life-force from enemies and temporarily turn them into zombified minions. We can see green electricity coming out of his body, presumably life-energy.
Bungee Sponge |
During Ben 10: Omniverse run, Matt Wayne joked about an alien named Bungee Sponge that Ben unlocked when he was 11 years old as an example of underpowered aliens that he moved on from. Tom Perkins' take on Bungee Sponge gave him two very long arms on his back, presumably to allow him to bungee jump off high places. He would be accessible by Ben 10,000.
